The Haarlem Family Hub was born from a simple need: having all the information parents share in one place.

After meeting a wonderful group of women during pregnancy, we often joked that we needed a spreadsheet or a website to keep track of all the recommendations, tips, and meetup details we were constantly sharing. Scrolling through hundreds of messages trying to find the name of a highly recommended breast pump or the details of an upcoming coffee morning quickly became overwhelming.

This space aims to bring together the information that can make those early years a little easier – from pregnancy and postpartum support to activities, meetups, mental health resources, local recommendations, and everything in between.

I also wanted to create a space where parents could connect without feeling pressured to spend money. Raising children is expensive enough without paying high fees just to meet other parents for a chat, a walk, or a cup of coffee. Haarlem Family Hub is built on the belief that community support should be accessible, welcoming, and affordable.

Haarlem Family Hub is created by parents, for parents. It will continue to grow through the ideas, experiences, and recommendations of the families who use it.
